WAVEFRONT SCIENCES

AMO/WaveFront Sciences designs and manufactures state-of-the-art optical instruments based on wavefront sensor technology for applications in lasers and optics, ophthalmology, semiconductors, micro-optics, and process control. Ken Wilson Design provides all its graphic design support including trade show and exhibit design, marketing materials, website design, advertising and product photography. I rebranded the company upon their acquisition by AMO Advanced Medical Optics and created an advertising “spokesman” character who I named Professor Z (much of their technology is based on the science of “Zernikes”) who asks “Looking for Clues in Your Optical System?” This friendly Sherlock Holmes-like detective appears in all the company’s advertising and marketing—they give out magnifying glasses to their customers!
